I am really sad about all these. If Ishikwene could do all these what hope is there in the renewed fight on vices in this country. I think he should search his conscience and if he ever finds any iota of fault in his lifestyle that will bring disrepute to the constituency of 'the saints' he represents, he should throw in the towel at the punch and go for confession and counselling because he would have offended the sensibilities of this hallowed constituency. Thank God nigeria is unveiling to a better society at the endof all these crap now.

your letter is one sided. it seems to me that the objective here is to nail pius isiekwene at all costs,by all means.in other words,your sole job at the punch was to spy on your boss.could isiekwene be the same devil that redeployed kemi obasola maliciously be the same saint that 'lied' to the american embassy to ensure the same lady gets a visa?how does the issue of those who gave him gifts have a bearing on your life?can you stand and show proof?have you never received gifts yourself?you are simply diverting from the issues at stake to probe the personal life of your former boss in an unfair manner.perhaps you are the saint.

It is a tragi-comedy as most things that happen in Nija. My question though is why keep silent till now? The complainant admitted to playing along as in the visa issue et al. You are pissed because you are fired? Suppose you were not? It looks to me like a gotcha game here especially considering the clear indication of the good job taking place in Lagos. Care must be take not to distract the best governor Nigeria has ever produced from delivering on his promises to the people. The fact that his government is under attack makes me feel this thesis is in bad taste.

@Abolo, I think you did not uderstand something here Kemi was said to be deployed to remove her from the heat not maliciously, the former editor is not complaining about the gifts, but that they were bribes for some benefits from Azu. @Ogbe yes the Lagos state government is trying hard, but if you are one of those whose monthly taxes count you will understand why he should be call to order if he is missing it.

Well i am happy this is happening not just in punch and more papers to follow. These papers will rather report the lies they are paid to write than to write the truth especially punch who will break news that are untrue to destroy credible people in our society who are doing credible jobs.

The will is also a bit guilty in this for they break news with out cross checking and because some people in the media are paid to write such stories the will knowingly or unknowingly write for those people they are close to in the nigerian media. A group of us young men and men have decided to stop this. Our website will be ready soon and we will publish the names of press corrupt nigerians and money extorting from nigerians including documentary proofs.
This will go far to stopping this menace.

You have some nigerian press men and women whose salaries are less than 50,000 living large from extortion and as for the will you should stand for justice. These are people that can sell this nation in time of war for a little change. We appeal to nigerians who have been extorted or are being extorted to email us details of extortion by any press person. We will be forwarding all details to The nigerian police ,EFCC and other bodies. Advert will go out on facebook and other credible media to ask nigerians who are hurt by this menace to help stop this and The will should help stop this and investigate before you publish any story.
