San Francisco, May 05, (THEWILL) - THEWILL can confirm that Nigerian President Umaru Yar'Adua is dead. The ailing President died this night in Abuja, according to a relaible top government source......
UPDATED 1: The late president died at 9 p.m. W.A.T.
Another source close to his ADC told THEWILL he would be buried tomorrow morning according to Muslim rites.
Acting President Goodluck Jonathan will be sworn in immediately as President.
The nation's security team is meeting at this time.
The late president's spokesman, Mr. Segun Adeniyi has confirmed his death.
